How did some of the sectarian Pennsylvania Germans react to military conflict when it happened near their homes and in their new country? Joel Nofziger, Executive Director of the Mennonite Heritage Center, will present the history of the Mennonite response to military participation from the American Revolution through the Civil War period. Allen Viehmeyer and Hunt Schenkel of the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center will discuss Schwenkfelder participation and stories for the same events.
