Children’s programs

Mark your Calendars for our upcoming children’s and youth programming. Most programs are free and available with no registration necessary. Please note that if it is a food program, we appreciate pre-registering to make sure we have enough ingredients available. Younger children may need a parent or guardian to assist them.

❖  Seasonal Saturdays: Make & Take crafts for all ages. 10am-2pm

• November 30, 10am-2pm & December 1, 1-3pm—Christmas Ornaments: Homemade gifts are the best, right? Join us for a festive time of crafting while listening to holiday tunes.

• February 15—Scherenschnitte & Snowflakes: What it is and how to make it.

• March 8–Spring has Sprung: Let’s create flowers using different media & supplies. Bring your creativity!

❖  Hands on Heritage:  Explore creations from previous generations. Held on specific Sundays from 1:30-3pm.

• January 26—Annual Grundsau Lodsch fer Yunge: Enjoy your time with representatives from our local Groundhog Lodges while celebrating the Pennsylvania German language & traditions by learning dialect phrases as well as sampling crafts, games, and snacks. Help our Grundsau predict the weather forecast for the spring!
