Children's Workshop: Guide to Reading Old German Print

Two session in-person workshops from 4:00–5:00pm on Tuesday February 8 and Thursday, February 10 (snow date February 22)

Here’s a chance for students ages 10 to 15 years of age to engage in an in-person workshop designed for them to learn how to read old-fashion type fonts such as were used German-speaking Europe and North America. A similar, simplified of the adult workshops, Associate Director of Research Allen Viehmeyer leads students through workbooks he has designed. While a basic knowledge of German is not necessary, it can be helpful. Register with ryoder@schwenkfelder.org or 215-679-3103 before Friday, January 28, 2022. $6 per child for group instruction and materials.
