This winter we were delighted to present the vibrant folk art of Ivan Hoyt in our first floor wall cases, next to our annual Christmas putz. Mr. Hoyt has been making hex signs—prized by collectors—and other Pennsylvania Dutch-inspired folk art for 50 years while also working as an art teacher. Mr. Hoyt is a 30-plus year veteran of the Kutztown Folk Festival.

You’ll also find some Ivan Hoyt folk art in the gift shop for Christmas! It’s a special opportunity to own a piece of work by this important folk artist.
