Rev. George Weiss was the first pastor to lead the Schwenkfelders in the colonies. Besides being a devoted pastor, he also took time to write a catechism for children that is over 1,000 questions in length and had over 270 questions related to the Eucharist. This seminar will look at his catechism and specifically his teaching about the Eucharist, noting any changes from Caspar Schwenckfeld’s viewpoint.
