Iron Pigs Baseball Game

The Heritage Center was thrilled to be a sponsor for Scrapple Night August 4. The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, and the sponsorship gave us a chance to promote A Culinary Journey from Germany to Pennsylvania. Besides a concourse table, Thayden Reinhart threw out a ceremonial first pitch (video below left), Candace Perry was interviewed in the announcer’s box, and a special video played on the scoreboard (video below right).
