Born in 1839 in Perkiomenville, PA, Bill fought heroically at the Battle of Fredericksburg, December 1862. He was executed by hanging at Fort Mifflin on August 25, 1864, for desertion and the murder of Abraham Bartolet. Presenter Bob Wood, historian, teacher, and artist, reprises his 2018 popular presentation of the tragic story.
