This is a free lecture which is available in-person and on Zoom. To register or to receive the Zoom link, call 215-679-3103 or email info@schwenkfelder.org.

Presented by Candace Perry

Join Curator Candace Perry for a nostalgic look back at the quirky and fun world of Pennsylvania Dutch restaurants, cookbooks, and kitschy foods of the 20th century. These new “traditions” live on today in the form of Lancaster County buffets and Facebook pages, but it all started when Pennsylvania Dutch food was “discovered” by city folk and clever entrepreneurs nearly a century ago.
