Reading Room Guidelines
All researchers and library visitors must sign in and out at the library desk.
Materials in the reading room and archives are non-circulating. That means all materials must be used on-site. Inter-library loan is available for institutions and researchers unable to visit the Heritage Center.
Our archival access policy is designed to ensure the protection of rare and sensitive materials in the Heritage Center’s collection. Please make an appointment to view materials in the archives by emailing hunt@schwenkfelder.org or calling 215-679-3103 (ask for Hunt). Appointments are preferred Tuesday through Friday.

· Cotton or latex gloves need to be worn when handling sensitive material. The Heritage Center staff will advise you on their use and provide gloves for patrons.
